The Strike Vote Has Been Extended by the Canadian Union of Public Employees Until Saturday, September 18th
The strike vote has been extended by the Candian Union of Public Employees.
Brunswick News reports that the reason for the extension is because some eligible workers were omitted from voter lists.
Voting was supposed to finish Saturday, September 11th but will now end on Saturday, September 18th.
President of the CUPE, Stephen Drost, says it could be as many as 300 names missing. He calls the error unjust and has asked province of New Brunswick to look into it.
