New Brunswick to Offer Meeting Incentive Program for Business-Related Travel
The New Brunswick government has announced a new program to help the hotel and motel industry by encouraging an increase in business bookings.
The Meeting Incentive Program will provide a 20% discount for bookings that meet specific criteria for business-related travel.
The incentive developed in partnership with the industry will provide up to $5,000 per booking for eligible expenses, including meeting rooms, food and audiovisual equipment.
Tourism Minister Tammy Scott-Wallace says the program will help rebuild the meetings and conventions market and provide hotel and motel operators additional support to get back on their feet post pandemic.
