New Brunswick to Allow Exceptions for the Hotel Self-Isolation Requirements:

With some hotels opting out of the hotel quarantine program, the province has
announced some exceptions to the quarantine requirements.

All leisure travelers, business travelers, and people moving to the
province had to self-isolate at a hotel for at least seven days, but now the
province is allowing exemptions for people to do so in a stand-alone
residence with government approval. Public Health announced the change
Saturday and said it will be determined on a case-by-case basis but didn’t
give specifics.

Truck drivers, rotational workers and regular cross-border commuters are
currently exempt from the hotel requirement.

Students returning to New Brunswick from around Atlantic Canada, except the
Halifax region, must self-isolate but can do so at a private residence.
