Lisa Pelletier Running for Councillor – Dalhousie
My name is Lisa (Doiron) Pelletier, and I am proud to announce my candidacy for Councillor, for the Town of Dalhousie, in the 2021 municipal election.
I was raised in Dalhousie and have always dreamed of raising my own family in our beautiful town. I studied at St. Thomas University in Fredericton from 2003-2008, where I obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree (major in Psychology), and a Bachelor of Education Degree.
I was thrilled to return home to start my teaching career in 2008, in my hometown of Dalhousie. I have worked for Anglophone North School District for 13 years and currently teach at L.E.Reinsborough School.
I have been married 13 years to my husband Arron, and we have a 9 year old son named Owen and 5 year old daughter named Sierra. I love our town and the wonderful citizens that call Dalhousie home. When our family was going through a health crisis with our young daughter in recent years, we experienced first hand the love and support that comes from our small community.
I want to give back and plan to work hard to help Dalhousie reach its full potential. I want Dalhousie to be a place all citizens, including young families and seniors, are happy to call home for many years. I plan to dedicate my time to help better our town, represent all citizens, and bring your concerns and ideas to the table. Thank you for your support and I hope you will give me the opportunity and honour to represent you!
