Campbellton City Council Intends to Amend the Municipal Plan, Which Would Change the Land Use Designations to the Property on 11 Alexander Street
Campbellton City Council intends to amend the Municipal Plan and to amend the Zoning By-law.
The proposed amendment to the Municipal Plan, to change the land use designations assigned to the property located at 11 Alexander Street from “Highway Commercial Class 3” to “Medium Density Residential” and a part of the parcel will change from “Institutional” to “Medium Density Residential”.
This will allow Council to change the zoning of the same property to the new “Single- and Two-family and Multiple Residential Zone” with conditions in order to allow for construction of an 2 additional dwelling units to the current 4-unit multiple family dwelling
Council will hold a public hearing during a regular meeting on Monday, November 8th to review written objections received.
Written objections will be accepted up to 4:30pm on Thursday, November 4th.
