Around 99,000 People in New Brunswick Still Need Their Second Dose of a COVID-19 Vaccine in Order to Lift Restrictions by August 2nd
Public Health says 61% of people in New Brunswick have now received their second dose of a COVID-19 vaccine with 81% having received one dose.
That 61% however is still well short of the Higgs Government’s goal of having 75% fully vaccinated by Monday, August 2nd in order to lift all restrictions as apart of Phase 3 of the province’s Path to Green Plan. There are still about 99,000 people who need their second dose.
There were no new cases reported on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 and the number of active cases is down to seven.
