Spike in Moncton Suicides

There’s been a spike in suicides in the greater Moncton area which is concerning to a retired psychologist. The coroner’s office says 40 people died from suicide in this region last year. There were only 22 deaths a year earlier. Albert Cyr is chair of the mental health community advisory committee for Vitalit√© Health Network. Cyr told CBC the spike in suicides needs to be investigated to see if there’s a problem with people accessing services.
